Snuffy's Prairie

Located at the end of Ranch Road, immediately east of the intersection of Huntley and Sleepy Hollow Roads, this site includes 30 acres of dry prairie and 33 acres of savanna, mature oak woodland, and a seasonal stream. The rolling landscape is carpeted with an incredible display of wildflowers blooming from April through September. Shaw Creek bisects the mature oak/hickory woodland and features a variety of insects, pollinators, birds, and small animals.

Snuffy's Prairie is designed for walking and is a great place for families and individuals who are looking for an easy stroll. The "figure 8" configuration of mowed paths provides many opportunities to see butterflies and birds. The prairie/woodland edge makes this an easy spot to enjoy the outdoors.

Street parking is available on Snuffy's Prairie Road.
