Ride in Kane UPDATE...
Beginning October 8, 2021, community access rides will only be allowed between the hours of 10 am and 3 pm. Job & medical-related rides will continue to be allowed at any time.
Ride in Kane
Dundee Township is a major sponsor of the Ride in Kane transportation program. The program offers “curb to curb” transportation within a 10-mile radius of an individual’s home for seniors and the disabled. The rides are provided by either handicapped buses or taxi service.

3. If under age 65, proof of disability (award letter, school IEP plan, or doctor's note)

If you have an emergency short-term (1-2 months in duration) need due to a medical situation, please contact the Township office at 847.428.8092 x4 to see if you may qualify for temporary rider status.
PACE ADA Service Information
We would like to inform anyone with a disability of the ADA Paratransit service offered by Pace. This program may offer you the ability to obtain transportation services in addition to that provided by the Ride in Kane program. You may contact the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) at 312-663-4357 to start their application process to see if you are eligible for the ADA Paratransit program.

The Ride in Kane service operates without regard to race, color, and national origin in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. Any person who believes she or he has been affected by any discriminatory practice under Title VI may file a complaint with their sponsoring agency or the Association for Independent Development (AID), the program administrator.
